Does the properties of steel change after galvanization?

　　The pickling process in hot-dip galvanizing has no adverse effect on ordinary steel grades; however, for high-strength steels or bar‑type steels with a coating weight exceeding 80 kg/m², hydrogen evolution may occur during pickling, necessitating careful and cautious handling. Nevertheless, current experimental findings do not yet provide a definitive conclusion regarding this phenomenon.

　　The zinc‑dipping process has no adverse effect on the properties of ordinary steel grades; however, for high‑strength steels with a coating weight exceeding 60 kg/m², it exerts only a minor impact on mechanical properties, which remain within the limits specified by the product quality standards.

　　Other manufacturing processes do not affect the mechanical properties of steel.
